Inspirability
by PASH, Matt Pashkow
Given to me most graciously by my friend Heather, my nose has been buried in this book for a couple weeks now. Take 40 well-known designers, sit them down, and interview them about inspiration. Sounds simple. The answers are fantastic. I love learning how other designers find their inspiration. Great book for quick glances or long reads.

Michael J. Fox interviewed by Esquire. "It started the summer before last summer, when the president vetoed the first Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act. He had these families around him, these “snowflake babies,” which presented it like it was an either/or situation and the two were mutually exclusive. It was just such manipulation, and it just pissed me off so much." (12/19)
Eyes. Individuality at its finest. (12/19)

The Dark Knight trailer. While I'll always love Nicholson's Joker best, I'm starting to get the feeling Ledger's will be a handful. Great laugh! (12/17)

McDooDoo's advertises in report cards. Okay, I might be the only one that doesn't have a problem with this. What kid wouldn't be tempted to do better in school for the chance at a Happy Meal? It still comes down to the parents not force-feeding their kids fast food for every meal. A small reward for doing well is harmless. (12/07)
